cult of youth

paul mccartney at his prime, one of the nicest examples of how blackbird should be played... been trying to figure out whether it's an easy or difficult song and it's in principle easy, until you add all the embellishments. i can't do the finger strumming thing, so i cheat by trying to pick the strings faster. he also seems to do it better in 1975 than some of his later performances.

ok, now, if i started this young...

simplest version. better than this would be good (and is the aim). but she sings the best maybe?

She's not the best; then again I dislike yodeling. But the kid!
